Sherri & Neil finally had their first party this past Saturday night...and NO KIDS were allowed! This will be the last of those parties for a very,very long time considering that sherri's due date might be moved up to the end of January!

just realized I never posted the FINISHED pics of my walkway.....it came out really nice (and then Randy planted all spring flowers along each side...I cant wait until they bloom in April)

the nursery now has a theme!!!

ok, you know me with themes...EVERYTHING needs a theme, whether it's a party (i do love my cinco de mayo parties & i do love attending other's halloween parties) or decorating for the holidays (did ANYONE notice that my patio room was decorated with candycanes??? I even had candy cane lighting!!!! Anyway, the theme for Sherri's nursey is Boyd's Bedtime Bears...and boy-oh-boy (no pun inteneded, i still dont know if I am having a neice or a nephew), it is C-U-T-E!

Last friday I parked at the willowbrook park & ride since I was meeting up with randy for dinner (which was super yummmmy). Came back to my car a little after 10pm & ~~~BLAMO~~~ my new years resolution went out the window....my car was broken into.

Mama-Fudgers broke the lock on the drivers side door & made off with my GPS and my Bluetooth Headset. Damn! I only rec'd the bluetooth for chanukkah...i never even got to use it!

Contacted Geico....they will fix my door lock (as long as I pay the $250 compresive deductible), but since neither items were "factory installed", I'm S.O.L........MAMA-FUDGERS!!!!

How cool was your xmas break? last night Randy, Derek & I saw "Evil Dead, the musical" (nahhhhhh-nahhhhh).

Chanukkah / Xmas Party

What can I say...I love having parties & having one the day after chanukkah / the day before xmas is awesome!. Had a ton of people over, had a ton of food (although not too many leftovers). I think the highlight was playing "secret stealer santa" (where everyone picks a number & in order picks a present from the pile. If they like it, they keep it....but if they like someone else's better, they can steal it before they pick. But watch out.......the pile was loaded with booby prizes). By the end of the night, some people had grand prizes (like pez dispensers, lottery tix, etch-a-sketch), and some wacko prizes (like a outlet adapter) and then some were just obnoxoius (like a can of sloppy joe).........sorry tom!!!!!

i luv days off

i needed a day off - and what better way to spend the day then get a facial with my sis. Went to the Hoboken spa, "SpaH". It was "ohkay". Nothing special, but at least it wasnt as bad as sherri's. Her facialist spoke to her the entrire time. In spa terms, that's a nono!

Then we went shopping - first time to the paramus park mall. Been to Garden State Plaza a bunch of times (which is down the road), but never to this one. It was ok. Smaller then Garden State, but we found what we were looking for. Especially Sherri - she was looking for some more maternity clothes. That girl got BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG. She looks so healthy!!!

Got the rest of my xmas/chanukkkah shopping done.

Now I just need to clean the house for the party on saturday......

If you ever want to see a million xmas lights and have german food (kinda cool combo, dont ya think????) you have to head over to Rolf's on 22nd. The restaurant is about the size of my living room and is decorated with milllions of xmas lights EVERWHERE. It's breathtaking the first time you open the front door. I was warned, but didnt expect it to be that beautiful.

AND WE GOT LUCKY!!!!

Since it's xmas season, if you show up with larger then a party of TWO (yes 2), you better expect to wait over an hour & then when you get seated, you are going to wind up sitting with other people. Not a few inches away....i mean at the same table. Randy ran an hour late to begin with and when he showed up - we were seated in less then 5 minutes.

And since it was just the two of us & we were treated wonderfully. We had tushy room, the food was great & so were the drinks.

Awesome celebration of randy's birthday. Sorry it had to be one day late...I had to attend a corportate dinner the night before :(

the reunion party on Nov 4th was a lot of fun...in fact, I didnt even wait a full month to meet up with some of my reunion committee buddies to go over the eveing. This time "non-THS" spouses were invited to our "meeting" at Real Madrid. It was Joanne, Melissa & John, Barb & Andy, Stacey & Matt (wait...he is an alumni), Sandra & Joe and Randy & me. Later on in the night we headed over to Bernie's bar in NJ for his grand opening.

can't really say that I love hockey, but I do love free tix....so does randy, derek & my dad. Got a treat from work with some tix for last night's game. Best thing was that the Sabres won (it was worth it to watch derek do the buffalo cheer!!!!)

- sunday: grandma's b-day party
-monday: dinner & screening with Sherri (and let me tell you - going out with a preggie is great...she ordered TWO portions of guacamole...oh yos mios!!!!)
tuesday: dance dance revolution down at dean & busters (and I was blown away by a punk kid)....I really do sux!
I've gotta practice my DDR...randy got me a home version for the PS2 for my birthday.

This little guy (or girl) looks like it's ready to start working out...or is it trying to do the white man dance. It would be easier to figure out if it had an overbite...but then i guess it would need teeth!

no - you can't figure out the sex in this pic...that's just the umbilical cord.

BUT

if you flip the pic upside down, it does kind of resemble a turkey leg....i bet sherri will feel some kicking at the thanksgiving table!

rosh hashanah 2006

we has a really nice dinner this year...lots of new dishes & Sherri & Neil joined us.
let's start off with the food.....YUMMMM.....there was wrapped asparagus & veal & steak & couscous & tiramisu & lots of staples that I'm forgetting...but most of all - lots of leftovers!!!
now let's get to the good stuff - sherri has def popped out since the last time I've seen her...she looks so ~~beautiful~~ at a FIVE 1/2 mths preggie!!!

met last night at Stacey's home (why did I ever move from the south shore of SI...I'm back here so much!!)...we have a lot more to do & not a lot of time left. Everything is now on order or in our houses...we just need to finally assemble it :)

mocha is taking over

well, it's now been 8 mths without the babygate separating the cat (mocha) and the dog (chewie). I think my little 8 lbs cat has decided that SHE IS BOSS over the 46 lbs dog, though. Here is mocha deciding that Chewie's pedigree food is much better then her nibbly science diet
