hung out with M&D at PNC today with Randy. PNC was hosting the annual German Heritage Festival. It was ok...but the oompa bands could have kicked it up a notch! All was good on my diet until Dad spotted the Funnel Cake stand. I might not have eaten a whole one, but for dinner tonight I ate only one bag of smart pop.....JIC!!!!
ok....week one passed (weigh-in is at 11am - Saturdays). I did pretty good except 1/2way thru the week I got tired of journalizing. I also pigged out on pizza around the corner from my office on Thurs.

ok, I'm not normally the person who goes out and stalks celebrities. I don't stand in Times Sq with a sign jumping up & down on the medium hoping to get a live shot on TRL. I guess maybe because I live in NYC I see them all the time (let me clarify ...like once every 4-5 mths...not daily). I've seen David Duchovny walking hand-in-hand in front of my apt with Tea Leoni before they were a couple, I've seen Bill Murray a block away from Grand Central, I've seen Jerry Sienfeld at the next table eating brunch, I've seen Big (aka Chris Noth, but it's easier to think "big") talking on his cell in front of a union sq restaurant where I was having lunch. I know there's more...but you get the hint. The only exception was when I MET...not saw....MET IN PERSON the members of Duran Duran. I lost it then...when I saw Simon, I was 13 all over agin...but it was a meet & greet...that's what you do at a meet & greet.
Today I was in L&T with a co-worker and the crowd was thick...turns out SJP was launching her new perfume..."Lovely". So, I stayed...and watched. Didn't see much, except she is a pretty tiny thing!!! She was signing her bottles, which was kinda cool. I didn't buy one then, but I have to admit...for a celebrity perfume - it's kinda nice :)
Went to the ColdPlay concert at PNC with Lorena on Sat night (thanks to the VIP admission Randy & Dan!!!!). I loved our parking spots....if we parked anycloser, we'd be on stage.
Awesome show, although we couldn't find Gywenth....perfect night for an outdoor concert.
(I never thought in my wildest dreams I would use the codename "Meyner BarMitzvah"!!!)
I just saw the most nauseating thing...I was walking chewie and saw the b*tchy old ladies of the townhouseville meeting in front of my house getting ready for their night out. ( Ironic that it's ok for my house to be their meeting place, but it's not ok for me to set up my table for the blockparty, huh???? )
Anyway - they all had dooney or coach wristlets!!!
EWWWWW - now I don't want to use mine (and it's cute, too)
I don't want to go out with something that a wrinkly 60 y/o uses - YUCK!
what in the world was I complaining about????? I just spent the last 4 days bored at work with NO TV!!!! Now I'm off until next Tuesday...at least there's shopping, right? :)
